The AB 1747-L514 is a SLC 500 SLC 5/01 Processor. This SLC 5/01 Processor has 960 Maximum I/O points and 480 Analog I/O
points with a User Memory of 4,000 Instructions.
About 1747-L514:
The 1747-L514 SLC 5/01 Modular Processor by AB is a modular processor of the SLC 500 system which offers 4K of processor memory, a maximum configuration capacity of 3 Chassis with a total of 30 slots, and an I/O connection capacity range from 4-3940 I/O points. The module has a backplane current of 90mA at 5.0V DC which gets to 0mA at 24V DC and it uses the 1747-BA lithium battery assembly with a 30-minute capacitor life and a lithium battery with a 2-year lifespan for backup power for the standard RAM. The 1747-L514 offers optional EEPROM backup, and with a 4K memory, it can process a maximum of 52 programming instructions, using the RSLogix 500 programming software.
The 1747-L514 has a maximum bit execution time of 4μs and an
overall module scan time of 8ms/K. During a temporary power loss,
the program scan on the module can take from 20ms to 3s depending
on the power supply that is loading. It comes with a base DH-485
communication capability which can only act in a slave capacity
(Receiving) in the programming channel. The 1747-L514 has an
ambient operating temperature range of 0-60°C (32-140°F) at 5-95%
non-condensing relative humidity range, and it is designed to
sustain an operational shock of 30G, and a vibration of 2.5G at
57-2000Hz. The 1747-L514 is C-UL, UL, and CE-certified, and it
offers a NEMA standard ICS 2-230 industrial noise immunity.
